Or this might be the first time you’ve experienced weight gain, even without any changes to your diet or exercise. Regardless, we have the tools to help you meet your goals.
The topic of GLP-1 medications such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide has been controversial in the media. However, these drugs have been on the market for nearly 20 years and exhibit excellent safety profiles. They also provide various other benefits to health, such as decreased insulin resistance, reduced risk of heart disease, and even neuroprotective effects.

The problem we see with the general use of GLP-1s is the imprudent use of them by some in the medical and medspa industries that are profiting greatly off a rapid weight loss strategy that leaves patients metabolically depleted and unable to maintain their weight loss long-term. Research shows that this is not a result of GLP-1 medications, but instead poor medical management that allows rapid weight loss due to depletion of muscle mass.
What makes us different? Here at Damn Girl! we believe in a multi-modal approach to weight loss. We use GLP-1 medications as a tool, and closely monitor your progress to ensure a healthy weight loss timeline. With the right nutrition and strength building movement, your body will preserve muscle while prioritizing fat loss. We focus on your body composition, not the number on the scale. We want to set you up for success and help you feel stronger, healthier and more confident.
Labwork is used to assess any vitamin or hormonal deficiencies as well as any metabolic syndromes that may be contributing to your weight gain and other symptoms such as fatigue. By incorporating nutritional coaching, we also teach you how to eat to fuel your body, build muscle, support gut health and increase metabolism. We can also include life coaching for support with life transitions, relationships, career and other stressors that can adversely affect health.

What can I expect from Regenerative and DE|RIVE hair restoration treatments?You can expect a minimally invasive procedure with little to no downtime. Regenerative treatments involve injecting platelet-rich plasma into the scalp. DE|RIVE applied topically to the scalp, is like a scalp massage. Both can stimulate hair growth by rejuvenating thehair follicles.

Can Regenerative and DE|RIVE treatments be combined together or with other hair loss supplements and medications?Yes! We can combine Regenerative and DE|RIVE treatments along with other hair loss supplements for enhanced results. Combining treatments like microneedling or prescribed hair loss medications can often lead to better outcomes. We will tailor a comprehensive treatment plan based on your needs during your consultation.

How long does it take to see results from regenerative hair treatments?The timeline for seeing results can vary, but clients typically notice changes within a few months after starting the treatments. Hair regrowth is a lengthy process, and success largely depends on compliance with at-home regimens such as serums, supplements, shampoos and scalp massage. Generally, we recommend a series of 6 monthly treatments. After those are completed, we typically recommend maintenance treatments every 6-12 months.

How long does it take to see results from DE|RIVE hair treatments?The time it takes to see results will vary, but most clients begin to see hair restoration within a month or two of treatments. Hair regrowth is a slow process, so we advise patience and compliance with the process. We usually recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced about a month apart, a treatment at 6 months, and maintenance treatments every six months to a year.

Is regenerative hair restoration and DE|RIVE suitable for all types of hair loss?Regenerative hair restoration and DE|RIVE is effective for various types of hair loss, particularly androgenetic alopecia, which includes age-related hair thinning. However, it’s most effective for individuals who have recently begun to lose hair. Many causes of hair loss are related to vitamin and hormone deficiencies. We recommend asking your primary care provider to run extensive labwork to check for iron, vitamin and hormone insufficiency so those issues can be addressed prior to seeking treatment with us. Although our hair treatments are highly successful in regrowing hair, you will not see the same progress if you are experiencing nutritional or hormonal deficits. During your consultation, we’ll assess your suitability for the treatment based on your specific type of hair loss.
